FAQ
1. What's the difference between "Save your graph", "Share your graph" and "Embed on your blog"?
2. When sharing, should I give out my 'Share your graph' link or the URL on the address bar? Only use "Share your graph". If you share the URL address, it's possible that the URL will be cut since its a long address. Also, there is no guarantee that we will continue showing the full address in the future. So again, if you want to share properly only give out the 'Share your graph' link. |
3. How long are my graphs saved? If the graph has not been viewed by anyone for over 3 months, the application removes it. |
4. How do I save a graph on my PC or MAC? On a PC, right click on the graph with your mouse, a menu should open up, choose "Save Image/Picture As...". On a MAC, the instructions are similar except you need to press the control button on your keyboard and then click on the chart. |
5. Why do I get an error when I press the Create button? Your data is probably wrong. Make sure you don't have a character or blank field in the Y axis data. |
6. Do others see my graph? No. The only way others can see your graph is if YOU send them a copy or a link to the graph. |
7. Is my data shared with anyone? We don't share/sell/give data to any one. |
8. Is the site free? Yes. |
9. How do you pay the bills? A combination of ads and out of pocket expenses. |
10. I have an idea to improve the site/graphs. If you're willing to share your idea with everyone, send it to us via the contact us section. |
11. Can you add more languages? As long as you're willing to do the translation, we're willing to add additional languages. |
12. If I modify a graph that had previously been shared or embeded on a blog, will my changes be seen? Yes, but only if you use the "Save your graph" link to retrieve and modify your graph. If you find that your changes aren't taking effect, try putting the "Save your graph" link directly on the brower's address bar and hit the enter button. This removes your old graph. Your new graph should now appear in your blog or shared link. |
