Latest Update : Trend Line, Gray Brush Color and X and Y fields automatic re-sizing
Added a trend line and a new color backgroud.
The Trend Line option can be found in the Line Chart page in the Line Specific Settings.
The new color background can be found in the Color dropdown field, option Brush.
The following example has a Trend line and the new brush gray color.
Another new feature is the TextArea Automatic re-sizing.
The X and Y textarea now automatically grow when entering values. This should make it easier to keep track of what you've entered.
Once you create your chart and comeback to the data screen, the textarea will once again become small.
To resize it again, just click inside the textarea.
Latest Update : Post Chart In Your Website
You can now call your chart directly from your website or blog. See example below.
Instructions : When you create a chart, you will now
see a third link called Post in your website. You just need to copy and paste the link
inside your website or blog and the chart will appear directly inside your website.
Several important things :
- Since this feature is new, you may find issues. Let us know if you think something is off.
- There is a small chartgo label on the bottom of the image when using this direct image link.
- If ChartGo is down for maintenance or outages, your chart will not display.
- The same rules that apply to the 'Share with Friends' link applies to the 'Post in your website' link.
As always, remember to keep track of your personal link . This is the only way to retrieve and modify your chart later on.
Previous Update
There are now two links in the chart result page.
- Link 'Your personal link' is your personal link so you can come back and modify your chart.
- Link 'Share with friends' is the link you shoud use if you wish to share your chart with others.
- Anyone using the 'Share with friends' link can only view your chart. They CANNOT modify it.
- Any changes you make to your chart using 'Your personal link' will be visible to anyone using the 'Share with friends' link.
For example, assume you create a bar chart with 4 bars. You then share your chart with others by giving them the 'Share with
friends' link. A couple of days later you come back to your chart by using the 'Your personal link' and add a 5th bar to your chart.
This 5th bar will also be visible to anyone using the 'Share with friends' link.
Remember, if you ever want to create a new chart with new data, pressing the 'reset' link on the main page create a whole new chart with new values.
